How are things done in Italy?

There is More than just one way to elope in Italy

  • Most couples that elope in Italy choose one of the following locations: the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Rome, Venice, Florence, the Tuscan countryside or the Dolomites. These places are incredibly beautiful, and if you have a vision of one of these places, I understand why! However, there are many more gorgeous places in Italy that are worth considering too if you aren’t completely decided!
  • Most couples spend between 7000 and 25000 USD on their elopement in Italy. This is including flights and transport within Italy. How much you’ll spend will depend on several factors; your number of guests, accommodation and activities being some of the most important ones.
  • To avoid an additional set of long-haul flights, most couples will “honeymoon” in Italy or elsewhere in Europe.
  • Some couples do their hair and makeup themselves and some couples book a professional. Some couples want their ceremony spot lightly styled with seats, flowers and arches, some couples prefer just a bouquet, and some couples prefer to forgo all of it. There’s no right or wrong.
  • Some couples want a private chef, some couples book catering, some couples cook themselves – some will even do an Italian cooking class as a part of their elopement day. Some couples eat at their hotel, in a restaurant or on a boat. Some couples prefer a picnic. It’s all up to what you think will bring you two the most joy on your special day.

Why I Became An Adventure Elopement Photographer in Italy

Becoming a photographer in Italy, particularly in the mesmerizing landscapes of the Italian Alps, including the Dolomites, as well as the serene beauty of Lake Como, Lake Garda, and occasionally venturing further south to Tuscany or the Amalfi Coast, was not just a career choice for me. It was a profound calling, born from my deep-seated passion for adventure, romance, and capturing the timeless allure of Italy’s diverse landscapes.

Italy’s Alps, with their majestic peaks and enchanting vistas, offer an unparalleled backdrop for couples seeking an intimate and unforgettable elopement experience.
