Eline Tasma guides no more than ten couples per year, designing multi-day elopements that unfold at the pace of the landscape and the people inside them. Rather than directing couples through a fixed schedule, days are shaped around presence, weather, light, and what actually feels right in the moment – sometimes expansive and adventurous, sometimes quiet and still, always intentional.

Every experience includes complete planning and vendor coordination, artful photography, a hand-designed heirloom album, and a museum-grade fine art print.

Founder

Eline Tasma – Founder, Photographer & Experience Designer

Grew up between the Netherlands and the Swiss Alps, in an artistic family where weekends were filled with exhibitions and galleries.

Languages: Fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish, German, Italian, and French, with working knowledge of Portuguese and Icelandic.

Educational background: European Studies (BA, focus on Switzerland), TESOL English Teaching Certificate (Trinity College London), and Writing for Performance (theatre school).

Training & certifications: Advanced training with Adventure Instead Academy (The Art Course, The Elopement Photographer Course, Thrive), plus Leave No Trace and LGBTQ+ Inclusive Wedding Pro certifications.

Career path: Formerly worked as an eBay fraud analyst, English teacher for adults, and art mediator, before moving full-time into destination wedding and elopement photography.

Timeline: First elopement photographed in 2017, North Wind Elopements founded in 2021.

Her approach is shaped by years of working in alpine environments and lived experience with chronic illness and disability communities. This informs North Wind’s commitment to designing elopements that make room for complexity and real life, rather than asking couples to perform around it.

Where I Work

Switzerland – Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Interlaken, Zermatt, Engadin, Alpstein. Options include sunrise Matterhorn vows, winter snow sessions, private picnics in farmer’s meadows.

Dolomites – Tre Cime, Cadini di Misurina, Lago di Braies, Alpe di Siusi, Seceda, Cortina area. Includes 4×4 access with local drivers, larch season hikes, sunrise ridgelines, overnight hut stays.

Iceland – Snæfellsnes, South Coast, and Golden Circle. Elopements shaped around weather, stargazing, and exploring off-peak hours at iconic waterfalls and black sand beaches.

Across all regions, elopements are designed with local regulations, land access, and environmental responsibility in mind.

Packages & Pricing

Half-day elopements – from €6500

Full-day, overnight, and multi-day elopements – €9000–€14000 for complete, fully planned experiences

All experiences include complete planning and vendor coordination. When elements like hair and makeup, florals, meals, helicopter access, or extended coverage are part of the experience, they are arranged and integrated by Eline so nothing lands on the couple.

All couples receive:

Artistic, cinematic photography
Full planning, coordination, and day-of management
Complete high-resolution gallery with printing rights

Not included: Personal accommodation (recommendations provided), attire, and flights
